West System is the leading producer of high quality epoxy products. Kit comes with 1 Quart of Resin, 1 Pint of Hardener, and one set of pumps for each can. I have used this system for over 15 years and I will swear by the results. So when we brought this category of product into the stock, there was only one choice for me. What is great about this system is that the hardener and resin come with a set of hand pumps, and these enable you to mix the exact right ratio in small batches. Need twice as much? Two pumps of each; and so on. Also, a thirty minute set time is just right in order to get your scales or tang assembled and clamped. We also sell their fast set product, but that is more for repairs. The epoxy also dries totally clear, so you can color it with their dye if you want black, white or grey, but you can also custom color with a little powdered additive such as sawdust from your sander or from a powdered dye. This makes a great stabilizing resin for punky woods and fills holes exceptionally well. This kit is a fantastic product.
