Wostenholm knives are known throughout the world. Three blade stockman knife in a Rosewood Handle. Made with 420S45 stainless steel, it has brass liners & pins, with a nickel silver bolster. This stockman has 3 blades, 2 measuring 2″ and one blade at 3″, a 4″ closed, and a 7″ OAL. Wostenholm knives are known throughout the world because of their “I*XL” markings on their knives, which means “I excel”. This mark has been used since 1787 and associated with George Wostenholm in 1831. The Wostenholm brand was by far the most popular brand in America throughout the 19th century. Olde Towne Cutlery both the Wostenholm and Joseph Rodgers brands back to America. These superb knives should be prominently featured in any collectors display, but are also affordable and beautiful for everyday carry.
