John’s Dawson skinner was specifically designed for processing game. Taking his design features from processing countless whitail of his own, this knife is a pure hunting pattern. The blade shape is specifically designed to accommodate the tip of the index finger being placed on the spine of the knife while cleaning game, thus letting the user know exactly where the tip is without having to see it. This prevents the user from cutting oneself and also keeps you from penetrating the hide of the animal. John’s handle shaping make this knife extremely comfortable in a variety of grips. The blade is crafted from 1/8″ A2 tool steel, Forest Green G10 handle with black liner and a white pinstripe. The tang has been tapered, blade measures 3 1/2″ and an OAL of 8″.
